Pirates of the Cubarrean

New Sailors: Who can sign on?

Every Pirate Wannabe must know how to SWIM. You will be tested, and MUST BE brave enough to WALK the PLANK and SWIM to a Deserted Island!

Ye should be at least 8 year of age; although we can make exceptions in special cases.

What do you need to have with you when you come?

  1. A SMILE!
  2. Lots of LAUGHS!
  3. The urge to have FUN on, and in, the water!
  4. A life jacket!
    1. When and Where?

The first session for new sailors will begin June 26 and end July 7.

The second session will begin July 17 and end July 27. Each session will include nine mornings, from 9 – 12:00.

      Returning Sailors

      Marauders (Beginners): Four mornings a week, Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri, 9 – 12:00, June 26 – Aug. 5 (no session on July 4 or on July 28). 9:00 – 12:00

      Raiders (Intermediate): Four afternoons a week, Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri, 9 – 12:00, June 26 – Aug. 5 (no session on July 4 or on July 28). 1:30 – 4:30

Pirates (Advanced and 420 Team): Wednesdays 10:00 – 4:00, and Saturdays 10:00 – 2:00. Sailors can attend two, three or four days a week for the season.

Other fun events for youth will be Team Race Weekend on July 8 and 9, and the Junior Regatta on July 22.

Children of members and returning veterans will be given preference. Space is limited by the number of boats and instructors we have available.

Please register your Sailors in advance. Contact Captain George at CaptainCubarrean@gmail.com for the necessary forms, or to get more information.
